About

Maybe it all began with the enthusiasm I felt as a little girl, when seeing fields full of poppies. Even now, I sometimes wonder how flowers entered my life.

I worked for some time in a flower shop, drawn simply by my love for flowers. But the true shift came years later, when I realised that working with flowers was not just an interest — it was something I could not live without.

For me, flowers are a medium of creative expression, a way of shaping emotion and memories, a form of art.

Before dedicating myself to floral work, I spent many years as a musical performer, standing on theatre stages across Germany and travelling the world as a singer on cruise ships.

Over the past four years, alongside teaching yoga and offering Thai massage therapy, I have been working passionately with blooms. Today, Floris Day, my flower atelier, and Canda Studio, my yoga and Thai massage space, exist together under one creative — and literal — roof.
